But, it's okay because we still don't completely have everything we need to put that together. I need to gather a bunch of gravel-sized stone from around the yard. Despite some things not quite going to plan... we are surprisingly upbeat still. It's hard to be too down in the dumps when it's as beautiful as it is here. Every night a gorgeous sunset. Sporadic rainfalls and breezes blowing through the open windows. Tons of sunshine. Rainbows. Great open skies for star gazing and quiet. It is so quiet out here that it's unbelievable. We usually hear some antelope in the evening calling to each other to our west out on the BLM land we are situated next to and it all just feels so good and so right. We have problems to solve, but we have ways to solve them. We get frustrated with projects, but then we have evenings to sit and just absorb the beauty and goodness around us. Living here is so different from any other experience I have had anywhere else. It feels hard but attainable, weird but logical, unpredictable but joyful.
