Today is a travel day! We're leaving Acadia, Maine, and the United States as a whole. By the end of the day, we expect to be in New Brunswick for a few days on our way up to see a few national parks up there. One such highlight is Gros Morne in New Foundland. Can't wait!

Casual Weirdness

Went on a hike today where the elevation changed by 450(!) feet in under 3 miles. It was very steep in some areas, and we had to go slow. The kids did so well! I snapped this photo while we were taking a break and it might be my new favorite photo of the family.

We have made it to Acadia National Park in Maine! We will be here for a week, and I'm thrilled to be here! I took the time off and am really looking forward to seeing what many consider to be their favorite NP in the US.

We have made it to Acadia National Park in Maine! We will be here for a week, and I'm thrilled to be here! I took the time off and am really looking forward to seeing what many consider to be their favorite NP in the US.

I'm freaking out right now! With excitement. Knowing we are needing to get up to our seasonal spot in Vermont, we have been a little down and mopey about leaving the OBX, what better way to manage that shift than to give ourselves something to look forward to!

I'm losing my freaking mind… We are doing Acadia national park, then continuing north… Then north some more … Then some more… And then taking a ferry further north yet. We are going to change time zones twice going EAST. That took Alex a hot minute to comprehend.

Guys, we are going back to Canada! And like … Really getting into Canada. We are going all the way up to Newfoundland 🤯

This wasn't even in my bingo card for our travel… But, have stickers, will visit!!!

I cannot wait, and won't have to for very long. We leave for Acadia NP in just a few weeks!
